2. Personal Data We Collect

When you register, we collect the following data:

• Full name
• E-mail address
• Password (stored in hashed form, never in plain text)
• Time zone (optional)

Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)) and performance of the service contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).

3. Purpose and Retention Period

Your data is used solely to provide the football score prediction service (match guessing, group management, leaderboards). We retain your data until you withdraw your consent or delete your account.

4. Data Processors

We use the following data processor:

• Tag21 Kft. — hosting provider (server and database infrastructure, Hungary)

Data processors act under our instructions and are bound by data processing agreements.

5. Data Transfers to Third Parties

We transfer personal data to third parties only in the following cases:

• a) Legal obligation: If required by a court, authority, or other legally empowered body. Legal basis: GDPR Art. 6(1)(c).
• b) Data processors: As described in Section 4, under data processing agreements. Legal basis: GDPR Art. 6(1)(b).
• c) Statistical purposes: Aggregated, non-personal statistics (e.g. total user count, traffic figures) may be shared with potential business partners or investors. Such data does not constitute personal data under GDPR.

6. Business Transfer

We reserve the right to sell, transfer, or otherwise assign the website (guessthegoals.com / tippeldmeg.hu), its technical systems, domain names, and related business activities in whole or in part to a third party (a "Business Transfer").

In the event of a Business Transfer, your personal data may form part of the transferred assets and may be passed to the new data controller (successor). Legal basis: our legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)), on the grounds that the data is necessary for the continued operation of the service and the transfer is proportionate to the interests of users.

Before or at the time of any Business Transfer, we will notify you of the change of data controller, including the name and contact details of the new controller and a link to their privacy policy. Notification will be made via the website and/or by e-mail to your registered address.

In the event of a Business Transfer, you have the right to:

• withdraw any consent-based data processing,
• request deletion of your personal data,
• object to the transfer of your data.

Such requests will be fulfilled within 30 days of notification, unless another legal basis applies.

7. Optional Marketing Consent

You may optionally give separate consent in your Profile settings to receive e-mail communications about partner offers. This consent:

• is not required to use the service,
• can be withdrawn at any time in your Profile or by e-mailing info@guessthegoals.com,
• withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

8. Cookies

We use session cookies to maintain your logged-in state, and Google Analytics cookies to measure site traffic. Accepting cookies is not mandatory; you can disable them in your browser settings.

9. Your Rights

Under GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Right of access: request information about the data we hold about you.
• Right to rectification: request correction of inaccurate data.
• Right to erasure: request deletion of your data (via Profile settings or by e-mail).
• Right to data portability: request your data in a machine-readable format.
• Right to object: object to processing of your personal data.
• Right to restriction: request that we restrict processing of your data.

10. Supervisory Authority

If you believe that processing of your personal data infringes GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Hungary:

11. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes will be published on the website at least 15 days before taking effect. Registered users will be notified by e-mail and/or via an in-app notice upon their next login.
